Jessica founded the Leishmaniasis Advocacy Network (LAN) due to a personal encounter with Leishmaniasis. Determined to not let the disease bring her down, she developed LAN in order to raise public awareness and create a support network for those diagnosed. Ultimately, she hoped that she could utilise her MSc in Health and Development to bring good to an unfortunate situation.

Previously, Supriya has held positions at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) and the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, both in India. Supriya also holds a Ph.D in science from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India.
