Jessica founded the Leishmaniasis Advocacy Network (LAN) due to a personal encounter with Leishmaniasis. Determined to not let the disease bring her down, she developed LAN in order to raise public awareness and create a support network for those diagnosed. Ultimately, she hoped that she could utilise her MSc in Health and Development to bring good to an unfortunate situation.
